Our Story

Always here for you

Connecticut Vascular Center was incorporated in December 1990 by Dr. Denatale and Dr. Sweeney.

In 1998, the practice opened their second location at the Stony Creek Urgent Care Center in Branford.

Dr. Ferneini and Nancy Chin joined the practice in 2000, and Dr. Coyle joined the practice in 2010.

In 2014, Connecticut Vascular Center built an Angio Suite (surgical center) on the lower level of the State Street location. The Angio Suite is equipped with the latest surgical and imaging equipment including digital X-Ray. Today, many of our patients can have outpatient procedures in our Angio Suite instead of a hospital.

In 2020, Connecticut Vascular Center opened a third office in Wallingford in collaboration with Midstate Hospital and Hartford Health.

Dr. Thompson joined the practice and Cheshire office opened in 2021.
